Tiffy and Leon share a flat, Tiffy and Leon share a bed, Tiffy and Leon have never met… Tiffy Moore needs a cheap flat, and fast. Leon Twomey works nights and needs cash. Their friends think they’re crazy, but it’s the perfect solution: Leon occupies the one-bed flat while Tiffy’s at work in the day, and she has the run of the place the rest of the time.

Review

I used this to calm down after the whole Alina fiasco 😒. I was skeptical at first because this was the first romance centered book I've picked up in a while but it surprised me pleasantly. At first I found the opposing styles from the different POVs weird because one was like the usual I was used to but the other seems like a mix between narration and a play but after getting to know leon, I felt that style suited his way of thinking and it didn't bother me as much (Yes, It was first person narrative 🥲, I can't avoid them as I can't just refuse to read books I own).

The story was slightly cliche but in a good way, no excessive drama, just the right amount of confusion, a typical "strangers to lovers" type deal with peculiar friends and fun characters to give it weight. Tiffy reminds me of the girl from the movie "Me before You" and I think this book has a movie too though I was too lazy to research that. I didn't like how the issue with Martins was resolved because he should have known better and I think he should also be sued. Also, the other couple could have had some chapters dedicated to them though I totally called their involvement even though it was supposed to be kind of a suprise (I may have ruined this for the ones that could have gotten suprised)

If you're into romance, you'll definitely enjoy it.
